iPod Touch Help

CREATING ITUNES STORE ACCOUNT WITH NO CREDIT CARD:
-Open iTunes on the computer
-Select iTunes Store in the left column
-Follow instructions here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534

TURNING ON WIFI ON THE IPOD TOUCH:
-Power on the device by holding the top button
-Slide the bar on screen to unlock
-Select the Settings application
-Select WIFI on that menu and turn it on if it is set to off
-Select tamulink-wpa and have the student enter their continuum credentials

REMOVING TAMULINK USER CREDENTIALS AFTER USE:
-Under WIFI, select the blue arrow to the right of "tamulink-wpa"
-Select "Forget This Network" to remove users continuum credentials

ADDING THEIR ITUNES ACCOUNT TO THE IPOD TOUCH:
-Power on the device by holding the top button
-Slide the bar on screen to unlock
-Select the Settings application
-Select Store on that menu
-If it currently has an account registered, select Sign Out
-Select Sign In and enter account information

OTHER HELPFUL NOTES:
-If the iPod is low on battery, there is a USB cable in the front pouch of the iPod case
-I'd also recommend that the students write down the number of the iPod that they are using (can be found on the back of the iPod and on the case) so that they can use the same ones and won't have to reset their WIFI and App Store account settings if this lab happens to go longer than 1 day.
