Lab 7 Grade Rubric

Lab exercise 7: Streaming video Players -- Use IE8, Mozilla, and Chrome browsers, visit Joost, Hulu, YouTube, Anivide, and Fancast sites. For each site you visit, make a note of the streaming media player you are using (e.g., RealPlayer, Microsoft Silverlight, Apple Quicktime, Adobe Media Player.) Identify strengths and weaknesses of usability (ease of use) for each site in each media player. (40 points)

__ Successfully views a video on each of the three streaming video websites and thoroughly reports and the features and functionality of each of the sites. Reports on the strengths and weaknesses of each site, including personal preferences for certain features.

2. Find and embed a video to your blog from each site. (40 points)

__ Successfully embeds a video from each site to the blog or provides a link where embedding is unavailable. Provides detailed impressions of the embedding process, including ease of use and other options if embedding is unavailable.
